Clay is a graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, with a degree in biology.

He started off in sales after college which ultimately led him to the IT world, selling software for Computer Associates and IBM for 5 years. He later worked for Lexis Nexis and Illumen before finally, realizing his entrepreneurial tendencies, Clay started several successful companies in the real estate investment and consulting arena over the course of eight years.

In 2010, he found the career that would change his life. He started his career in insurance and financial services with Northwestern Mutual. He was responsible for sourcing potential advisors. Despite no experience, Clay's recruits represented 75% of the new agent revenue in 2012 of all five of the agencies' local offices.

In the 4th quarter of 2012, he became a contracted agent with Guardian's Washington, DC agency First Financial Group and has been successfully building his practice, one relationship at a time. Clay finished 2nd in the Country for new agent of the year in his Rookie year at Guardian. Clay has consistently been one of the top Advisor’s at FFG over the last 7 years.

In his spare time, Clay likes to spend time with his Wife Adrian and their two Sons, Ethan and Evan, golf, read and cheer on the Dallas Cowboys. His greatest passion is building relationships. He and his Family live in Mitchellville, Maryland.
